Niagara HO!

Well, I went to Niagara Falls this weekend with the class. We were taking the Mexican students down there to show them some of Canada. It was Tres Bien.

we were suposed to check out fort eerie and the peace bridge and see how trucks get processed but got rained out. BUT we did get a free tour and wine(ice wine) tasting at the vineyards that changed how people saw canadian wine, Inniskillin Winerys. It was amazing. I brought back 2 bottles of their 2004 Cabernet Franc and will gladly share a bottle at christmas.

I also set up a photobucket site for the trip, and will post more pictures as we take more trips. http://s135.photobucket.com/albums/q142/FlemingTrade/

I will also post my pics of me on my personal photobucket site (http://s143.photobucket.com/albums/r126/studentimporter/)

What did I do: Besides the drinking antics at the hotel, me and my pals checked out the strip, went to a haunted house (im a wuss, just see the pic) saw the falls at night and pulled an amazing prank:

Mike(the target) wan on the john in his room and Steve (my helper) picked the lock and i threw a bucket of ice into Mikes lap.

it gets better, mike chased us out of the room and found himself half naked in a hallway full of trade kids and our teacher....priceless.

More wacky antics later
Cheers,
Josh

I was the Lumberjack games this weekend at the Fleming campus in lindsay.

Next, I have started a photobucket.com thing where I will be posting misc pictures, I will let you know when there are updates on it in my posts. The ones thar are on there now are just of my friends and somethings in europe.

Midterms, Updates and other rockin stuff

Well, Midterms are over (and so is reading week, thank god). Looks like i havent posted anything in a while so here goes.

What have we missed? well October 13th was a pretty important. it marked 699 years since the Templar killings. Jacques de Molay, the last grand master of the templars was burned at the stake(with coal, not wood so he didnt pass out from the fumes) and hundreds (if not thousands) of Templar Knights were hunted down and killed. thank you king of france and pope!

but enough history lessons. I finished my midterms, and got my marks back, and im quite happy except with one.

Reading week was nice, I went to Toronto to visit my aunt Michelle. (who sent me 7 blocks in the wrong direction :P) I got to shadow her at work. Which, I may add, has a very nice organizational set-up. I also got a speeding ticket too. Not much happened, I just wanted to get back to school.

So midterms, got a nice 92% on Importing, 86% on Customs, 62% On Export Marketing-I know the grade is low but marketing isnt my thing, i perfer to have rules and regulations (like with importing and customs) where there is a right and wrong answer, marketing is too free thinking for me. As for the other classes I have, i dont know what i got but i know i passed. =-)

So on to the fun stuff. Next weekend, Nov 10-12 We, the trade class, are taking the mexican exchange students to Niagra Falls to experience Canada first hand...and to consume many many beverages containing hops and barley. should be most excellent. I will post pictures when I return.

thanks for reading all this.
have a good one,
Cheers,
Josh.
