Student Downtime

So last week was the biggest bash of the year, which was needed after weeks of trying to commit NAFTA to memory(which cant be done but a basic understanding is good enough)

so needless to say, I went. and luckily enough my little pal...Digicam so here are a few pics of me and the Trade guys and gals.

INCOTERMS,INCOTERMS, INCOTERMS!

ah INCOTERMS (International Commerical Terms) is what i will be committing my next two years to...and NAFTA and Customs Act (more on those later)

whats so important about INCOTERMS? EVERYTHING when dealing with buying and selling in Trade, they outline the responsibilities if the buyer and seller, who pays for what and who needs to provide which documents. But most importantly, they are a sales contract.

Im also glad to report that most people are using 1980's INCOTERMS and even worst off, in North America, they are using them incorrectly.

Back in Session

Well, week one is finished. So far, it AMAZING, my classes are small and few but highly intensive(which is fine by me) this semester is focusing on NAFTA rules and regulations, actually most of the program is, and INCOTERMS. pretty much learning about how much companies over pay on any goods that come into the country.
